Job Description We are seeking an intermediate-to-advanced web designer/developer skilled in web design with a solid understanding of user interface and front-end concepts. Responsibilities include: Designing and constructing web pages, incorporating the latest GUI features and techniques; Maintaining and updating website designs and graphics; Exhibiting proficiency in SharePoint operations and administration; Following best practices in web design; Producing wireframes and mockups, and developing designs using HTML and CSS; Performing testing and providing peer feedback; Assisting with refactoring legacy ColdFusion code and rewriting it in PHP. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; 3-6 years of relevant experience (or 7-10 years of equivalent experience); Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; Experience with server-side programming in ColdFusion and/or PHP; Knowledge of web standards, best practices, and trends in technology; Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Experience with Object-Oriented Programming; Experience designing standards-compliant websites; SharePoint 2010 or above site administration experience; Experience with ColdFusion to PHP migration; Knowledge of MVC frameworks and version control systems (e.g., Subversion); Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems.
