A rapidly expanding energy technology organization is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, build, and evolution of turbine-based power generation systems. This role offers the chance to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, playing a meaningful part in advancing next-generation equipment and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the mechanical design lifecycle for power generation assemblies, from early concept through validation and deployment.
- Drive technical execution of engineering initiatives, ensuring designs meet performance, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Apply core mechanical engineering fundamentals to address manufacturing, reliability, and integration challenges.
- Identify, evaluate, and select components and sub-systems for new equipment builds, balancing cost, availability, and technical fit.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to support equipment upgrades, redesigns, and new product releases.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers and technical partners.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements related to efficiency, durability, and lifecycle cost.
- Stay informed on applicable industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced engineers, supporting knowledge transfer and best practices.
Experience & Technical Background
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Approximately 10+ years of professional engineering experience, including direct involvement in turbine or rotating equipment systems.
- Proven background in mechanical design, build support, testing, and root-cause troubleshooting of power generation equipment.
- Working knowledge of supplier engagement, component sourcing, and engineering-to-manufacturing interfaces.
- Comfortable operating in a growth-oriented environment with evolving processes and priorities.
