Overview Kent Place School seeks a Varsity Flag Football Assistant Coach for the 2025/26 season. Hours: 3:45 - 6:00 pm (games could finish later) Season: March 16 - June 12, 2026 Responsibilities Maintain, along with coaches, the proper supervision of student-athletes at practices, games, and on school-provided transportation Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators Ability to work effectively with others Organizational and problem-solving skills Attend a mandatory preseason training session with the Athletic Department Participate in special activities, awards nights, admission panels, open houses, and pep assemblies Complete all coaching accreditation modules and KPS training Adhere to best practices of diversity and inclusion so that interactions with students, colleagues, and other constituencies highlight awareness, competence, and sensitivity Qualifications Prior coaching/playing experience at the collegiate level preferred; experience at the high school level required Understand the fundamentals of the game of flag football and possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport Have the ability to motivate players to reach their potential Must have exceptional leadership skills Must have excellent communication skills and strong administrative skills To apply for this position, please submit a cover letter and resume by November 3, 2025.
