**Job Description:**
We are seeking qualified Night Nurses for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients of various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver care to patients in a designated area, adhering to protocols and nursing standards.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Manage a patient ratio of 4:1, ensuring quality and personalized attention.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams.
- Provide emergency care as needed for various clinical conditions including trauma and acute illnesses.
- Participate in orientation and training, committing to continuous professional development.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with previous charge experience preferred.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS.
- Experience in LTAC and community hospital settings is essential.
- Proficient in handling a wide variety of clinical situations, including but not limited to abdominal pain, respiratory infections, and patient management in emergency situations.
**Additional Information:**
- Must hold an active nursing license.
- Ability to float to different units within the hospital as necessary based on staffing needs.
- Must be comfortable with weekend coverage and potential holiday shifts, as specified in the contract.
