Temporary Inventory Control Analyst

SmartyPants is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual for the Inventory Control Analyst position. In this role, you'll optimize inventory tracking systems to improve control procedures, maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods, and investigate and resolve inconsistencies. You'll work closely with Supply Planning, Fulfillment, Finance, Demand Planning & 3rd party vendor to drive inventory accuracy and reconciliation. What You'll Do:

• Optimize inventory tracking systems to improve inventory control procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods across supply chain network
• Investigate and solve inconsistencies with inventory
• Collaborate with accounting on monthly reconciliation of inventory between ERP and 3rd parties
• Reconcile weekly production batches and evaluate if excess scrap was incurred
• Maintain cycle count program
• Coordinate with 3rd parties to investigate inventory discrepancies
• Other job-related duties as requested

What You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced inventory control role
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to take initiative and complete projects within tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills; able to interact with diverse personalities and behaviors
• Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Get:

The pay range for this position is $31.67 to $38.61 per hour. SmartyPants Vitamins takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. This position is a temporary position for a duration of 6 months and is not eligible for benefits outside of those provided under state/local benefit programs.
