Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking four dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers for self-contained (SDC) classrooms in an elementary school setting within the Winters, CA area. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to students in a self-contained classroom setting
Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to each students needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families
Track and assess student progress using data-driven practices
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development, and IEP meetings
Requirements:
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate
Experience working in a self-contained special education setting preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for working with students with diverse learning needs
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $50,000 $100,000 annually (based on experience and district step plan)
