Residential Appraiser - Trainee
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Residential Appraiser - Trainee to join our team and embark on a rewarding career in the field of residential real estate appraisal. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the entire appraisal process, from property inspections and data collection to report writing and client communication. This is a temporary-to-hire position, with the potential to transition to a full-time, permanent role upon successful completion of the training program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property inspections and collect relevant data for residential appraisals
- Assist with the preparation of appraisal reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks to support the appraisal process
- Collaborate with the appraisal team to provide exceptional customer service to our clients
Qualifications:
- Clean background and a valid driver's license and current motor vehicle insurance
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in the real estate industry
- Preferred: Prior experience or education in real estate, appraisal, or a related field
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Includes both office and field work, exposing incumbents to computer screens and office equipment in the first instance and varying weather conditions, land and structures in different stages of development, and various environmental elements (dust, dirt, noise, etc.)
-Work may, on occasion, entail light lifting
-Must be able to work some weekends and/or extra hours
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting pay rate for this Residential Appraiser - Trainee position is $19 per hour with a raise to $20.54 when hired. Upon successful completion of the training program and transition to a full-time, permanent role, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
