About the RoleAs a Night Shift Advocate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours. This position is perfect for someone who is empathetic, dependable, and eager to make a positive impact in their community. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a heart for helping others.
What You’ll Do Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and assistance to residents during the night shift.
- Monitoring the shelter to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Responding to emergencies and addressing resident concerns promptly.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of nightly activities.
- Collaborating with other staff members to uphold the shelter’s mission and values.
We’re searching for someone who:
- Is compassionate, patient, and understanding.
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Is reliable and able to work independently during overnight hours.
- Is committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
