A level 2 trauma center is seeking a trauma surgery nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in South Carolina. A Level 2 trauma center is seeking night APP coverage starting as soon as possible, with credentialing typically taking 3045 days. The facility is currently short four night APPs and aims to staff two APPs on the 7 PM7 AM shift. While a 7-on/7-off schedule is preferred, other scheduling models will be considered. This is an inpatient-only role with no clinic responsibilities. The locum APP will support trauma and general surgeons with rounding, managing patients, new consults, and documentation. Expect 1012 consults per night across all age groups. EPIC is the EMR system used.
