Sign Pro of Kansas City is a local small business that is making a large impact throughout the Kansas City Area. We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the print industry.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Basic understanding of print production processes (bleeds, color modes, file prep, resolution).
• A creative eye for layout, typography, and color.
• Knowledge of color theory and color correction.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment .
• A portfolio that demonstrates design skills.

What you will be doing

Process Management:

• Keeping Job tickets and production logs updated.
• Managing inventory of printed materials and their status in production.

Proofing & Quality Control:

• Reviewing proofs for color accuracy and layout issues.
• Create print ready files.

Design & Execution:

• Creating layouts, mockups, and concepts for various clients such as The Kansas City Royals, Arrowhead Stadium, Aramark Corp, and various other businesses across the metro.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure brand standards are met through out project development.
• Assist in creating Sign Pro branded multimedia assets.

Team Collaboration

• Assist in answering phones to take orders, answer questions, and take credit card payments when needed.
• Keep open communication with production team on projects.
