Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who has a passion for baking, a little experience, and a strong attention to detail. As a Baker at Upstream Brewing, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
• Measuring and mixing ingredients to create consistent and high-quality products.
• Baking items according to set recipes and ensuring they are baked to perfection.
• Decorating and garnishing baked goods to enhance their visual appeal.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Monitoring inventory and communicating needs.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional baker.
• A strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure products are ready for service.
• An understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
