Wealth Management Operations Analyst (Kyc/Aml) Entry Level

Slc, Ut (In-Office) Relocation required without relocation assistance $47-56K/year

A prestigious firm based in Salt Lake City is looking for a Wealth Management Operations Analyst to join their team! In this role, you'll work in a highly regulated environment focused on onboarding new clients. You'll ensure that all required documentation and information is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards. You'll collaborate closely with Private Wealth Management (Pwm) teams, Compliance, Legal, and other Operations groups to deliver a smooth and positive onboarding experience for each client.

Operations is a fast-paced and collaborative division that supports every area of the firmfrom banking to sales & trading to asset management. Our job is to make sure the business runs smoothly while maintaining strong risk management and controls. Whether it's a new trade, a new product, or a new market, Operations builds the processes that keep everything working seamlessly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Get hands-on experience learning the different client account types and the documentation needed to open them.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for new clients and assist with regulatory requirements such as Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) and Know Your Client (Kyc) checks.
• Partner with Pwm Advisor teams to ensure all client documents are accurate, complete, and delivered promptly.
• Set up various client products and services (e.g., options, margin, checking, debit cards).
• Make sure internal systems correctly reflect approved products and servicessuch as cash management, client statements, and performance reporting.
• Troubleshoot onboarding issues by coordinating with Compliance, Legal, Aml teams, and Pwm groups.
• Contribute ideas to help streamline and improve the account-opening workflow.

What You Bring To The Role:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel) and web-based tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good judgment and the ability to solve problems independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with internal partners.
• A client-focused mindset and the ability to navigate expectations professionally.
• Series 7, 9, 10, or 4 licenses (Preferred)
• Internship or full-time experience in financial services, Aml, Compliance, or client onboarding (Strongly Preferred)
