General Manager - Dignity Health Sports Park at TieTalent in Carson, CA.

Position Overview

The General Manager oversees the management, promotion, and operation of the venue, including construction, purchasing, policy formation, booking, marketing, finance, food and beverage, box office, advertising, security, production, maintenance, and related operations. The role involves leading and directing staff, coordinating plans, and liaising with corporate, industry, government, media, and public stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all facility operations, including stadium and velodrome, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality event delivery.
• Develop and oversee the annual master calendar of events, including sports, concerts, community activities, and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and operational regulations.
• Manage budgets, financial reports, and financial planning for operations and events.
• Lead business development efforts, negotiate leases and contracts, and promote facility usage.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; foster a positive work environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Sports Management, Business, Public Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in arena/stadium management or similar roles.
• Proven experience managing P&L statements, budgets, and capital projects.
• Strong leadership, operational, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Payscale: $330,000 - $380,000. The position is bonus-eligible. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and wellness programs.
