Akkodis is seeking a Facilities Maintenance - Weekend Shift 5 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT . You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on automated assembly equipment.

Note: Weekend Shift 5 (Saturdays and Sundays - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; Mondays and Tuesdays - 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM)

Rate Range: $32.50/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Facilities Maintenance - Weekend Shift 5 job responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing automation equipment to support production.

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery.

• Installing and modifying integrated systems to improve equipment performance.

• Supporting PLC programming, software diagnostics, and vision/control systems.

• Maintaining logs to document equipment testing and operation.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, EPA, OSHA, and ISO standards.

• Coordinating activities with other departments to facilitate equipment maintenance and changeovers.

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of five years of experience as a technician on automated assembly equipment, with two to three years in electronics/mechanics.

• Must be able to read and understand procedures, blueprints, and sketches.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools, drills, power tools, and basic electrical systems.

Pay Details: $32.50 to $37.00 per hour
