Employment Attorney

A highly respected Manhattan law firm with decades of experience is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including litigation, counseling, and compliance matters. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of experience in employment law, including litigation and advisory work
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters with a high level of organization and attention to detail
• Client-focused approach with proven ability to build and maintain relationships

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and contract disputes
• Provide counsel on day-to-day employment law issues, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, accommodations, and compliance
• Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
• Conduct workplace investigations and advise on risk management strategies
• Stay current on changes in employment law and provide proactive updates to clients
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions
