Job Description

We are currently seeking candidates for an Editorial Manager - Copywriter position with an elite investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Editorial Manager will play a key role in shaping marketing communications across multiple channels by transforming complex investment concepts into engaging and accessible content.

This is a 3+ month contract opportunity paying between $45$55 per hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:

• Translate complex investment topics into clear and compelling narratives while maintaining brand integrity across a wide range of audiences
• Develop, write, and refine various pieces of marketing content, including retail investment insights, corporate marketing materials, flyers, white papers, and brochures.
• Maintain a strong pulse on capital markets and macroeconomic trends, ensuring content reflects current conditions and aligns with product positioning across asset classes.
• Collaborate with social media, design, video, client marketing, and sales enablement teams to drive consistent messaging and seamlessly deliver campaigns across channels.
• Execute editorial tasks, including copyediting and proofreading, ensuring consistency of tone and voice.
• Stay informed on industry developments, competitor positioning, and investor sentiment in order to strengthen messaging relevance.
• Provide additional support as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in English, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field (required).
• 68+ years of professional writing experience, with at least 5 years in financial services, asset management, or an agency supporting investment clients.
• Proven ability to write for a wide range of audiences, from retail investors to institutional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of capital markets concepts, investment strategies, and asset classes (including fixed income and equities).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, while managing tight deadlines.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
