Job Description
Essential Job Functions - Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks
- Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and protective devices
- Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames
- Label cables and equipment according to company standards
- Maintain accurate assembly documentation and quality control records
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams on assembly requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements - Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment
Education & Experience - Associate degree in electronics, telecommunications, or related field
- Industry certifications (BICSI, CompTIA Network+, or similar)
- Experience with specific MDF manufacturers (e.g., Siemon, CommScope, Panduit)
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and data center environments
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Certification & Licenses - Professional certification may be required in some areas
