Location: Corona, CA

Pay: $35 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting department directly, helping them complete daily tasks, or may work indirectly.
• Keying in data and compiling information for the department.
• Relies as much on administrative skills as accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts.
• Relies on knowledge of accounting terminology and accounting systems.

Principal Activities

• Drive collection efforts to resolve past due accounts.
• Provide additional resources for SOX controls.
• Provide additional support for daily reports, timely controls, downloads, and improve operations processes that generate cash, cash receipts, and working capital.
• Enter and code financial transactions appropriately.
• Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings.
• Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold.
• Make and track payments.
• Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs.
• Validate invoices against items or services received.
• Check all financial transactions for accuracy.
• Key data into the company accounting system.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1+ years of experience assisting in an accounting department
• Knowledge of booking practices
• Experience with accounting systems, typing, and data entry
