Job Title: Wound Care Surgeon
Location: York, PA
Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to transforming wound care into a comprehensive limb salvage program. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated physician to assist in the development of the program and make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
MD or DO with completion of an accredited residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery or Vascular Surgery.
What You'll Champion:
Collaborative Team Support: Work with 3 experienced wound care nurses, a full-time Nurse Practitioner (1.0 FTE), and a vascular surgery team.
Integrated Care Model: Podiatry services onboard to support advanced wound care and limb salvage.
Growth Minded Individual: Drive the transition of our wound clinic into a limb salvage practice-ideal for a physician passionate about innovation and developing a limb salvage program.
High Patient Demand: Established patient base with strong referral patterns, offering immediate opportunity to build and grow the practice.
Future-Ready Facilities: Be part of an exciting growth phase with new surgical towers currently under construction at WellSpan, designed to expand advanced surgical capabilities and enhance patient care.

Masters Degree Required or
Doctorate Required
Licenses:
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Advanced Wound Care Training. Upon Hire Required and
UHMS-approved Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory Course (a minimum of 40 hours on site). Upon Hire Required and
Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
