Position Purpose : Schedules customer orders and forecasted demand to production equipment in efficient and timely manner to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels. Must understand specifications, interpret production schedules; and deal with inventory transactions that result in adjustments, receipts, consumptions, and/or transfers.

Principle Accountabilities
1. Receives orders for product and schedules production to meet customer order requirements. Requires being knowledgeable of production capabilities, inventory and target dates to produce product in the most efficient manner.
2. Knowledge of production areas and product flow to ensure proper scheduling. Create production plans staying informed of planned downtime and preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Provides specification sheets and identification labels for products produced.
4. Monitor the finished goods stock levels, order amounts and production status. Identify slow moving and obsolete inventories and make recommendations regarding disposition of items.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor to ensure customer requirements are met.
6. Maintain system knowledge to properly support inventory evaluations, adjustments, and general transactions.
7. Purchasing responsibilities include ordering office supplies, factory supplies and materials, safety supplies and shipping supplies.
8. Process and submit receipts, invoices and purchase orders for materials and services. Reconciles purchase order issues. Maintains all related files.
9. Recommend cost saving measures for areas of responsibility. Identify opportunities, create project plan, and implement approved measures.
10. Oversee vendor services for the office cleaning, lawn care, vending and factory supplies.
11. Primary contact with the leasing company for the printers and copiers. Provides meter readings and schedules service call as needed.
12. Primary contact for phone system and reviews general mailbox messages. Serves as the operator for incoming calls. Also, serves as the receptionist.
13. Closely monitor stock levels of all raw materials and finished goods to ensure necessary materials are available where needed.
14. Related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Prefer Associate Degree in related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in production and inventory control or planning strongly required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
• Work environment is primarily office with some exposure to manufacturing areas as needed to perform job responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining efficient and effective supplier relationships
• Analytical skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with teams
