UMMG Staff Physician - Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor pulmonary support systems, including ventilators
• Develop treatment plans and follow-up studies
• Coordinate post-discharge care
• Order laboratory tests and oversee patient care quality and safety
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities
• Consult with medical staff and oversee allied health professionals
• Maintain patient confidentiality and documentation

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree, Board Certified or Eligible, Medical License
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 0-1 years of experience required; 1+ years preferred
