Job Description
dispatcher position involves coordinating and managing freight logistics by assigning drivers routes, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. They are the central point of communication, handling issues, optimizing routes, managing paperwork, and maintaining records for a our fleet of trucks and drivers. The position also requires at times to work over time and work weekends. Weekends will alternate between dispatchers.
