Apex Systems is currently hiring for Strategic Product Manager – Managed Services Innovation to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO.

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Onsite expectation: 4 days onsite per week

Pay range: $70-80/hr

Are you a business-minded builder with a knack for spotting opportunities others miss? We’re looking for a sharp, strategic thinker to lead the development and launch of new managed services—targeting high-potential verticals like hospitality, education, entertainment venues, and faith-based institutions.

This role is equal parts market detective and execution maestro. You’ll spend half your time on competitive analysis and business modeling, and the other half steering cross-functional teams to bring viable service offerings to market—driving real revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct thorough market and competitive research to identify new service opportunities
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market artifacts covering:
• Market potential & share
• Financial modeling / ROI
• Strategic roadmap for launch within 12 months
• Act as product owner to drive execution of approved concepts
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business results
• Manage full project lifecycle with emphasis on communication, milestones, and delivery quality
• Prepare project documentation, updates, and budgets

Ideal Candidate

• 5-7+ years of experience
• MBA or equivalent experience in business modeling, ROI analysis, and strategic planning
• Direct exposure to hospitality, education, arenas, churches—or experience supporting them as a vendor
• Proven success launching business ideas with measurable revenue impact ($1M+ annually)
• Strong strategic, analytical, and communication chops
• Comfort leading product development

Bonus Points for Familiarity With:

• Smart spaces or IoT platforms
• Indoor mapping, location services, and asset tracking
• Occupancy analytics and environmental monitoring
