As a Sales Associate for our Black & Decker Outlet store, you’ll be part of our T&O Commercial team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Assist customers in an engaging and professional manner to enhance the customer shopping experience. Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to meet customer needs. Achieve and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling Stanley Black & Decker products. Utilize effective sales techniques to achieve sales targets and drive revenue. Maintain a thorough understanding of Stanley Black & Decker products, features, and benefits. Stay updated on new product releases and promotions. Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing. Assist with product displays, restocking shelves, and maintaining inventory levels. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Escalate issues to management when necessary. Assist with general store upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining store equipment and fixtures. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred, previous retail sales experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math skills, proficiency with POS systems, ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
