An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to serve as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a virtual support role. This position involves providing direct assistance to students in a school setting under the guidance of a licensed virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to students as per their IEP requirements while adhering to supervision protocols.
• Collect and maintain data on student progress during therapy sessions.
• Prepare and organize therapeutic materials and activities to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assist in the coordination of scheduling and session setups between school staff and the supervising SLP.
• Observe, document, and report student behavior and performance for effective planning and communication.
• Ensure compliance with California state laws and professional standards related to SLPA practice.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid SLPA license from the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
• Experience in school settings is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient in using technology for collaboration with a remote SLP supervisor.
