Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school located in Albany, OR. This role involves supporting students with diverse learning needs in a structured educational environment, focusing on individualized instruction and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Manage caseloads in one of the following settings: 3rd-5th grade autism classroom (social learning center), middle school resource room, or elementary resource room.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with students with autism or other special needs preferred.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
