Job Description
At Solar Solutions of America, our team of solar professionals work to bring customers Affordable Energy Independence. The Solar Solutions team collectively has over 15 years of solar experience and is 100% committed to promoting cost saving, solar energy solutions one household at a time.
Solar Solutions will help customers reduce their dependency on local utility companies by making customers their own energy provider. Working with leading manufacturers of solar panels and inverters, Solar Solutions of America has streamlined the sales and installation process to make solar more affordable for more people.
We are currently looking for experienced solar installers to help us grow our team. Compensation will be $20-25 per hour depending upon experience.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing design plans and conducting site visits for measurements, photographs, and energy efficiency audits
Preparing load outs with all materials and equipment needed for the job at hand
Installation of rails, solar panels, power optimizers, inverters, and any other necessary equipment
Running wires through attic spaces or underground as the job requires
Proper use of harnesses and other safety equipment
Cleaning up job sites and ensuring that the homeowner’s property is appropriately taken care of
Different jobs may require the use of lifts, trenching equipment, and other machinery. Candidates must be able to regularly lift over 60 pounds and be able to work outdoors year-round. All employees and contractors are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, homeowners, co-workers, and inspectors.
As a contract labor position, installers are expected to have and maintain their own tools and insurance. Occasional overnight travel may be expected.
