Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and experience with solar energy systems. This role involves the installation of solar panels and related equipment on residential properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Work with high voltage and low voltage systems while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper connections of electrical components.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the job site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solar PV system installations.
• Familiarity with California building codes and permitting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• NABCEP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and NEC regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience with roofing techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and operating forklifts safely.
• Experience with installation of scaffolds
• Previous experience working on construction sites is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
