Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver (Van Driver) to transport clients, trainees, and company personnel to and from designated locations. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and courteous transportation services while assisting passengers as needed and supporting additional duties when not driving.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a minibus or van to transport passengers according to assigned schedules.
Pick up and drop off passengers from central loading areas or individual locations to destinations such as social service centers, rehabilitation facilities, training sites, or job locations.
Assist disabled passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
Secure passengers’ wheelchairs and mobility devices to restraining equipment for safe transport.
Operate radio or communication devices to maintain contact with base or other vehicles and report service disruptions.
Perform routine vehicle care, including fueling, cleaning, and checking lubricants and accessories.
Keep accurate records of trips, passenger behavior, and any incidents that occur.
Perform custodial or building maintenance duties when not driving.
Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, traffic laws, and transportation regulations.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL (if required by state or vehicle type).
Previous experience driving shuttle vans, buses, or passenger vehicles preferred.
Ability to assist and support passengers with mobility needs in a safe and respectful manner.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to perform light custodial or maintenance tasks when needed.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
