About the role This position is based out of Seattle, WA-Hybrid role We are a fast-growing SaaS company transforming the way businesses operate. We’re looking for a results-driven and analytical Senior Financial Analyst who is passionate about turning data into insights that drive strategic decision-making. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts. You’ll work cross-functionally to provide actionable insights, drive process improvements, and contribute to our company’s growth. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strategic mindset to problem-solving. What you'll do Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning Analyze financial data, business trends, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to inform business strategy Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership Support monthly close processes and variance analysis Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and tools Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as neededInitiative & Self-Direction – Proactively identifies solutions, manages time effectively, and takes ownership of work Professionalism – Maintains confidentiality, follows through on commitments, and acts with integrity Interpersonal Skills – Listens openly, handles conflict constructively, and collaborates respectfully Teamwork – Prioritizes collective success, welcomes feedback, and contributes to a positive team culture Oral & Written Communication – Presents clearly and concisely; demonstrates strong written communication and attention to detail Judgment & Dependability – Makes sound decisions and takes accountability Adaptability – Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and managing competing priorities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field MBA or CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, with at least 2 years in a SaaS or technology company Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, Looker, etc.) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills At Shipium, Employees enjoy full medical, dental & vision coverage (with 50% coverage for dependents), optional life insurance and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, fully remote work-from-home options in 25* states, 8 paid weeks of parental leave, 12 paid holidays annually, self-managed vacation time, sick & safety leave, and volunteer time off.
