As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to monitor access points, check badges, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns or requests for assistance. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. A valid security guard card or license is preferred. Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
