As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assisting individuals with questions and concerns while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing individuals as needed. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
