Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide services to a high school-aged student. This contract position supports the student's educational needs throughout the school year, from ASAP to the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication between the student and their teachers by interpreting sign language during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure all academic information is accessible.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting within an educational setting.
• Experience working with high school-aged students.
• Ability to interpret accurately and maintain neutrality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for the full contract term from ASAP through EOSY (end of school year).

Location: Republic, MO

This role does not involve VOCO services and requires dedication to one student on the caseload. It is a contract assignment serving the current school year calendar.
