Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized support for an orthopedical impairment student within a K-12 school setting in Golden, CO. The role requires approximately 15-20 hours per week, with an onsite-only commitment at this time. This contractual assignment covers the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored physical therapy services to an orthopedical impairment student, promoting mobility, function, and independence.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques to meet evolving needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and communications related to student services and goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
  • Expertise in working with orthopedical impairment students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage workload within a part-time schedule (15-20 hours weekly).
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery at the designated location.
