Position Overview: As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with physical disabilities and developmental challenges, ensuring they can engage with their educational opportunities in a safe and effective manner. Opportunities available include:

• Per diem coverage
• Part-time schedules
• Full-time and long-term placements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess students' motor skills, mobility, posture, and overall functional abilities.
• Work closely with teachers, school nurses, special education teams, and families.
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Assist students in achieving their academic and functional goals within the school setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license.
• Preferably some experience in a school-based setting, though it is not required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school team.
• Compliance with school clearance requirements (fingerprinting, physical examinations, etc.).
