Remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Medicare Hours

• Training is 8-10 weeks from 8am-5pm CST, Monday to Friday.
• Work hours vary: Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat, approximately any 8 hour shift between 7am-8pm
• REMOTE ROLE- CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE US

Remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Medicare Compensation

• The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour paid bi-weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

Remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Medicare Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review all prior authorization requests and render coverage determinations based on clinical criteria and plan design, including verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, interpreting clinical guideline criteria, consulting healthcare providers, and complying with department protocols.
• Communicate case decisions promptly and efficiently to healthcare providers, health plans/employers, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Process referrals by answering clinical questions, collecting medical data, and performing clinical assessments within designated service levels.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with technicians, healthcare providers, and patients to facilitate prior authorization requests and resolve escalations.
• Maintain professional knowledge of drug and disease states related to Specialty and Non-Specialty Pharmacy programs within the Commercial Prior Authorization and CRU units.

• Licensed Pharmacist - can be located anywhere in US
• Experienced with managed care company
• Experienced reviewing prior authorizations
