Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a job in Seaford, Delaware.

Position Summary

The Ambulatory Registered Dietitian (RD) provides nutrition care for patients in the Medical Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery programs, focusing on both pre- and post-operative support. You’ll work closely with providers, nurses, and the bariatric team to deliver individualized nutrition counseling and education that drives long-term lifestyle success.

This is a fast-paced outpatient role with primarily 1:1 consultations. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead support groups, contribute to program development, and participate in team meetings and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling for metabolic and bariatric patients before and after surgery
• Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
• Participate in patient and staff education on dietary topics
• Maintain up-to-date bariatric nutrition guidelines
• Collaborate with the Bariatric Coordinator, surgeons, and multidisciplinary team
• Lead patient support groups and track attendance
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities
• Use EPIC and other clinical systems to document and track patient progress

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential – Required
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in Delaware and Maryland (reimbursement available for 1 missing license)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nutrition experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR a plus
