Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response & Medical Care:  Act as the primary responder for trauma, illnesses, and injuries, providing on-site care and stabilizing patients for potential medical evacuations (MEDEVAC).
  • HSE Compliance & Safety:  Conduct, monitor, and enforce health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
  • Medical Administration:  Manage, inventory, and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and documentation, including daily medical logs and health records.
  • Occupational Health:  Implement health surveillance programs, monitor work environments for hazards, and manage industrial hygiene.
  • Training & Hygiene:  Deliver health and safety training to personnel, ensure hygiene standards, and coordinate with onsite management and onshore doctors.  

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Licensure:  Certified Nurse, Paramedic, or equivalent medical professional.
  • Certifications:  Often requires specialized training like BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), offshore medical certificates, and advanced life support certifications.
  • Experience:  Previous experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, or industrial settings is typically required.
  • Skills:  Strong communication, emergency management, computer proficiency for reporting, and ability to work in remote/remote-offshore locations.
