Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in related field. No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.

Job Summary:

Nutritionist I provides nutritional information and services to patients, families, and interest groups.

Job Duties:

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates nutritional programs.

• Develops and implements plan of care and correlates with other health services.

• Evaluates patient's nutritional care and provides follow-up continuity of care.

• Instructs patients and families in nutritional principles, diet, food selection and economics.

• Provides consultation to and works with community groups.

• Maintains records of all individuals counseled.

• Adheres to internal controls established for department.

• Performs related duties as required.

Salary Range:   Actual salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

Nights and weekends possible. Must be willing to work until at least 6pm for clinic hours, with flexibility if client needs require later or weekends. Position requires travel for training and coverage; must be willing to travel.
