Who You Are

• Professional, well-developed written and oral communication skills. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using proper English grammar.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as loan documents, regulations regarding collections and policy/procedures.
• Intermediate mathematical requirements required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work cooperatively and politely with outside parties, members, and co-workers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize to meet numerous deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the workflow; manages competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

What You'll Do

• Orders appraisal, title work, and flood determination for all new mortgage files prior to sending to processing.
• Request all written verification of employment request and completes the verbal verification of employment prior to closing.
• Assist the processing team in requesting Verification of Mortgage and payoffs.
• Request evidence of insurance showing CFCU as the mortgagee.
• May serve as back-up for the processors and originators in closing home equity loans with members at CFCU corporate headquarters location.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Six (6) months to one (1) year experience required in a financial institution, lending environment or customer service position.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job required.
