Job Description
  • Coordinate and manage all MEP field operations and subcontractors on multifamily construction sites.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for MEP systems.
  • Ensure work is installed per plans, specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
  • Interface daily with the general superintendent, project manager, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Schedule and oversee inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party consultants.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of MEP installations and document any deficiencies.
  • Track and manage MEP construction progress and provide input for project schedule updates.
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of MEP system commissioning.
  • Identify and help resolve coordination conflicts in the field, including clashes between trades.
  • Maintain daily reports, job site photos, and logs of MEP activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or similar role, with a strong focus on data center projects
  • Solid knowledge of MEP systems and best practices in residential mid- and high-rise construction.
  • Proven ability to manage MEP subcontractors and coordinate field activities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
