Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineer II

Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs meet performance and safety standards, while also considering manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
  • Conduct computational simulations to validate design concepts.
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for project documentation.
  • Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential design issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams on fabrication processes, including laser cutting.
  • Support construction activities by providing mechanical expertise and guidance.
  • Work with agricultural applications to create innovative solutions for the industry.
  • Review and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to enhance design precision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design principles.
  • Experience with computational simulations and analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, including laser cutting.
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery and construction equipment is a plus.
  • Understanding of DFMEA and GD&T practices.
