Our Georgia facility has more than 25 engineers, scientists and technicians co-located with our 60,000 square foot R&D, laboratory, prototyping, testing, and production facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, Qualification, Metallurgical, Corrosion, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Fatigue, Tensile, Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Micro Sectioning, Hardness, Porosity, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, Impact, Wear, etc.)
Design Engineering (FEA, Fatigue)
Engineering Drawings (AutoCAD)
Solid Modeling (SolidWorks, ProE, and/or CATIA)
Robot Programming (Fanuc and/or ABB products)
Technical Data Publication and Review
Perform other duties as requested
Candidate Skills & Capabilities:
Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling
Technical Writing
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical and Corrosion Testing a plus
Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis a plus
CNC Programming and machining experience is a plus
Robot Programming a plus
Electrical Experience a plus
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree (Metallurgical, Materials Science and Engineering) from an ABET accredited university or college. Master's Degree is a plus.
Entry Level to 8 years of related experience
Aerospace Industry experience a plus

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Ability to travel if required.
