POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Communications Manager leads the planning and execution of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing market share, sales, and profit growth, while achieving company goals. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is responsible for integrated communications and promotional programs across multiple media touchpoints. The Marketing Communications Manager oversees a team of marketers and collaborates closely with peers in the Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Creative Services teams. This role also collaborates with senior leadership throughout the organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a teamresponsible for internal and external communications, sales collateral, social media, event planning, and content production.
Develop and executemarketing communications plans to deliver strategic programs and messages to the sales team and customers.
Coordinate and managecontent and logistics for in-person and remote events for the sales and sales management teams, with support from direct reports.
Create marketing materialsin collaboration with the visual media team, clearly articulating service and product features, benefits, and value propositions through differentiated messaging.
Collaborate with product managementto drive product marketing and branding decisions.
Identify and pursuePR and earned media opportunities.
Ensure consistent brand standardsacross all deliverables.
Conduct controlled deployments and market teststo assess the alignment of new products and services with market needs.
Develop strong relationshipsand feedback processes to measure and monitor the success of programs and activities.
Perform administrative functionssuch as budgeting, performance reviews, and salary administration.
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all marketing communications.
Optimize departmental efficiencyby instituting or modifying policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Exceptional project management
Demonstrates attention to detail for exceptional execution
Able to hire and develop staff
Able to extract and analyze sales and marketing data
Able to organize and standardize complex processes
Able to collaborate regularly with peers and stakeholders across a wide range of departments
Ability to work closely with large sales team
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient with leading marketing software platforms
Able to interpret financial statements
Able to travel up to 50% per month occasionally, typically 10% or less
5+ years of marketing experience
2+ years of experience managing a team
Experience in commercial/B2B market or channel
