About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Philanthropy to lead its fundraising efforts and drive the expansion of its mission to increase prosperity for workers through shared ownership. The successful candidate will be part of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing a successful advancement operation, with a focus on enhancing a strategic fundraising plan, stewarding top donors and institutional funders, and growing major gifts and Board fundraising efforts. This role is pivotal in achieving the organization's ambitious goal of creating $20 billion in wealth for workers by 2030 and establishing shared ownership as a new standard across corporate America. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director of Philanthropy include working closely with the Founder and Board, leveraging a powerful network of corporate leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and philanthropic partners, and leading a team of five fundraising professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in philanthropy, be adept at movement-building, and have a strong commitment to the values of economic justice and wealth equity. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to steward relationships, and a culture of excellence, and is driven by the transformative vision of the organization.
