Location: Boston Children’s Hospital – Boston, MA
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Full-Time
Bonus: $7,500 One-Time Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to support the safe, timely, and accurate preparation of delicate endoscopic instrumentation. This role plays a direct part in surgical readiness and patient safety by ensuring scopes and related components are processed, maintained, tracked, and available for high-acuity procedures.

This position requires a high attention to detail, technical skill with complex equipment, and a commitment to sterile processing excellence in a fast-paced pediatric hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain availability of sterile endoscopic equipment for scheduled and emergent surgical cases
• Retrieve, disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and prepare scopes and related components using specialized cleaning and decontamination methods
• Operate, troubleshoot, and support endoscopic and audiovisual equipment for OR teams
• Coordinate equipment readiness by providing substitutions and responding to urgent technical requests
• Manage ordering and restocking of supplies based on par levels and surgical demand
• Oversee storage and rotation of supplies, ensuring proper labeling and packaging
• Maintain detailed logs for inventory, repairs, purchasing, and associated expenses
• Process billing invoices and requisitions while resolving vendor or account discrepancies
• Participate in equipment evaluation and onboarding of new devices and supplies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• CRCST or CSPDT certification (required)
• CER – Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (required upon hire or within 1 year from hire date)
