Job Description

Pearse Partners has partnered with a mid market investment bank looking to expand their M&A team in Denver with an Associate hire due to strong deal flow. The Associate can choose to specialise across Consumer, Industrials, tech/services or be a generalist.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute M&A transactions across various sectors, supporting senior bankers throughout the full transaction lifecycle
• Take ownership of key deliverables, including financial models, pitch presentations, and marketing materials
• Lead workstreams on due diligence, valuation, and execution processes
• Collaborate with senior team members to manage client relationships and contribute to origination efforts

Ideal background:

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking or a Big 4 M&A/Corporate Finance team
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and technical skillset
• Ability to work in a lean, high-performing environment with strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
