Our client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a strong background in Operations and Project Management to support their Talent Development & Learning team. This individual will design and deliver high-impact learning solutions while managing projects, programs, and vendor relationships to ensure timely and effective learning experiences. Position Overview The ideal candidate combines deep instructional design expertise with the ability to manage the operational and project-related aspects of delivering scalable learning programs. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Instructional Design (Primary Focus) Design and deliver impactful learning and development solutions using instructional systems design (ISD) methodology Conduct training needs assessments and create objective-aligned, adult-centered instructional strategies Develop comprehensive learning materials, including facilitator guides, participant handbooks, evaluation tools, and digital learning assets Test and implement various training solutions, ensuring they are aligned with learner and business needs Operations Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage the planning and logistics of virtual and in-person training programs Oversee vendor management processes, including procurement, contract management, and invoice processing Build collaborative relationships across teams, suppliers, and business units Monitor learning operations workflows and ensure successful program execution through effective communication and resource coordination Project Management Lead multiple learning projects simultaneously, balancing competing deadlines and priorities Establish timelines, track deliverables, and ensure adherence to project milestones Facilitate regular check-ins with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and internal teams to report progress and resolve issues Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience Extensive knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory Proven ability to develop leadership development and professional training programs using ISD methodology Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple concurrent projects Experience managing third-party vendors and sourcing external content providers Experience with eLearning tools such as Articulate or similar authoring software Ability to think conceptually and innovatively to identify creative learning solutions Results-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course management and SCORM file integration Certifications in instructional design or talent development (e.g., CPLP, APTD, or similar) Facilitation experience with leadership development programs Benefits: Health Insurance 401k Pay Range: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
