You will assist the Training/Learning team in developing and delivering training and materials for various roles across the organization. Help continuously improve the skills and talent at the company. POSITION TYPE: Full time. Direct Hire. Salary $50,000 to $60,000 annually. All in office work environment on a beautiful campus with many perks. Requirements of the Instructional Designer: Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in instructional design and training including course design and development of supporting training materials. Minimum one year of recent experience with CBT ( computer-based training) design/development. Able to interact directly with people at all levels throughout the organization, including leadership. High level communication and analysis skills required to explain complex information in clear concise terms. Ability to grasp concepts, generate ideas, break down information, and develop actionable and measurable steps. Seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual. Exposure to the mortgage industry is required. Previous experience with MS Office including Word and PowerPoint needed. “Articulate” or use of other eLearning software experience is required. Duties of the Instructional Designer: Work with leadership to assess training needs. Analyze metrics to understand where there may be shortcomings. Collaborate and develop with leaders to develop training goals and plans. Document processes. Comprehend the concepts and knowledge the leaders need delivered to their target audience. Create computerized course designs, job aids, help guides, visual aids, presentations, and training materials. Create supporting assessment tools to measure learning, knowledge retention, and performance. Solicit evaluation and feedback to continuously make improvements or adjustments. Act as a backup to the Trainers for various roles when needed. Maintain eLearning libraries and all documentation. NOTE: Position is only open to current residents in Southeast Michigan.
