Experienced Immigration Attorney (Bilingual English & Spanish)
Houston Immigration law firm is seeking a full-time or part time attorney to join our team. Qualified candidates should have minimum of 2+ years of family-based immigration experience. Candidate must be organized, hard-working, responsible, reliable, capable of working with limited supervision and committed to working within a team.
Responsibilities:
All matters pertaining to immigration law, including but not limited to:
- Develop and implement case strategy;
- Prepare and file adjustment of status and, immigrant visa applications, naturalization applications, waivers, VAWA petitions, RFE/NOID responses, and FOIA requests;
-Research immigration law and procedures;
- Represent clients and attend field office interviews.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice immigration law;
- Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred;
-2 years of family-based immigration; asylum and removal of defense; business immigration experience is a plus;
- Comprehensive understanding in immigrant visa petitions and consular processing.
- Thorough understanding of family - based petitions, waivers, adjustment of status complex issues, VAWA petitions & consular processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong analytical ability, organization and research skills with attention to detail;
- Must be able to communicate effectively with professionalism;
- Strong analytical and problem - solving skills.
